Colorado Springs, Co. - Kathy Richey-Walton, head coach at Southwest Dekalb High School in Decatur, Ga., today was named head mentor for the 2010 USA Basketball Women's Youth Olympic Games Team.

 Coach Nard - WP Lady Celtics 
The "Pride of the Celtics" is not just somethig reserved for the Boston Celtics but was something that was incorporated into the Atlanta Celtics AAU program and everybody associated with them by founder the late great Wallace Prather. Today Coach Renardo Hudson (Coach Nard) an understudy under Coach Prather has instilled that same pride into the Wallace Prather Lady Celtics. I was able to sit down with Coach Nard on Coaches Corner and chat about some of the things that help keep the "Pride of the Celtics" alive.

In a short period of time the GA Pistols Elite 16U/17U AAU Team under the direction of Head Coach Percy Gordon and his assistant coaches have formed one ot the top programs in the state of Georgia; after sitting down with Coach Gordon on Coaches Corner I was able to see why the program is on it's way to even greater heights.

 Gary Charles - GBOA Director  GC is started the Long Island Panthers now the New York Panthers AAU Team
The name Gary Charles is synonymous with AAU Basketball around the country, hailing from the Roosevelt section of Brooklyn, NY; Charles started the AAU program known as the Long Island Panthers; nowadays they are known as the New York Panthers and are one of the most renowned AAU teams around.

 Corey "Hulio" Smith - Mgr Atlanta Celtics  A picture is worth a thousand words.
The Atlanta Celtics have long been one of the top AAU Programs in the country but when their legendary coach and co-founder Wallace Prather Sr. passed away a few years ago most people wondered if that would spell the end of the programs dominance. Well like most legendary figures Prather was passing on his knowledge to a young man who was like his side-kick; that man was Corey "Hulio" Smith.
